Beautiful, and real

Hela's world may be magical, but its ecosystem plays it straight. The clearest example in official screenshots: a northern owl descending on your mouse with talons out. Nothing about the framing reads as a cartoon villain, it's a predator being a predator, from a mouse's point of view.

This grounds the cozy tone: the danger in Hela is the natural peril of being small — weather, height, water and claws, handled without combat. Expect avoidance, timing and clever use of Froggy's movement kit rather than fights.

Creature directory, coming after launch

A full directory of the land's animals (habitat, behavior, how they interact with your mouse) will be documented from the shipped game. Before launch, official materials name no individual creatures, so this page won't invent any.
